Comfort in your hands

The world closes in upon itself in an intimate circle,
like a held breath.

At the centre, a woman’s face,
her head gently bowed, her eyes closed,
surrendered to a silent peace.
Her relaxed features speak of weariness…
but also of trust.

Around her, a tree trunk opens,
and from its heart spring hands,
broad, patient, deeply rooted,
which come to welcome without holding back,
to support without constraining.

The forest envelops the scene,
dense and alive,
like an ancient, almost maternal presence.
It watches over, it breathes, it protects.

In this green refuge,
she seems set apart from the turmoil,
as if entrusted to something greater than herself.

Wood becomes flesh,
nature becomes movement,
and in this silent embrace
a gentle truth is revealed:

There are invisible forces
that carry us when we can no longer stand on our own.
