Blue Contemplation
She, in a white dress, stands motionless,
sheltered beneath a light parasol,
facing the horizon ablaze.
The sky, ablaze, unfolds in fiery hues,
like a sea of fire suspended above the world.

a tree with blue foliage defies this heat,
offering a strange, almost unreal presence.
