Hope

A woman, seen from behind, walks slowly,
sheltered beneath a delicate parasol,
in the heart of an autumnal forest.

The trees, adorned in warm, faded hues,
shed their leaves like fragments of time,
covering the ground with a past that is gently fading away.

All around her seems to be fading away,
in a fragile, almost melancholic beauty.
And yet, in the distance…

The horizon opens up.

A clear light filters through the branches,
a clear sky appears, vast and luminous,
like a silent promise at the end of the path.

She does not turn back.
She simply moves forward,
carrying within her that quiet movement
which refuses to yield to the darkness.

The parasol, a delicate shield against the unseen,
becomes the symbol of a private faith,
of a fragile balance between vulnerability and confidence.

This painting suggests that even as the seasons fade, something within us continues to believe in the light and to walk towards it.
