Her painting is colourful, luminous and vibrant. Nathalie Jarsaillon, known as Kali, loves to capture on canvas the brightness she wishes to see in the world. For her, every being carries light; every event, however sombre, can illuminate a new path that was previously invisible. Her art invites us to rediscover this inner glow, to believe once more in the beauty of our humanity. Painting to reconnect with one’s innermost self, in a sincere encounter with one’s emotions. Her canvases are fragments of the soul, flashes of life, invitations to encounter and reconnect with oneself. In a childhood where the expression of emotions was all too often stifled, art became a necessity, a breath of fresh air; Kali thus finds in painting a refuge, a means of expressing what words cannot always convey. Inspired by Expressionism and the light of Monet, she transforms absence and silence into creation. When she paints, the world fades away: instinct guides the hand, emotion becomes matter.

Once a deeply personal endeavour, her painting has now become a means of sharing. Her works, imbued with spirituality and poetry, celebrate nature and give thanks for such beauty. She also paints to convey a message, to raise awareness on issues such as protecting our planet, as well as to denounce violence against women – themes she often accompanies with deeply moving texts. Attuned to her surroundings, she donates a portion of the proceeds from her art sales to charities supporting people with disabilities, as a natural extension of her generosity. Since 2025, she has exhibited her work from her local area all the way to Paris, offering art that is sincere, sensitive and deeply human: an emotional language that connects, soothes and enlightens, reminding us that even in pain, light persists and that art can heal the soul.
